The Secret Ingredient

The right mix of the key ingredients makes Robin's Donuts an excellent franchise opportunity, but does not guarantee success. No ingredient is more important than you. Your leadership is the catalyst that puts it all together. While industry experience is an asset, owning a Robin's Donuts franchise requires no direct experience in the coffee shop business.

We are continually seeking enthusiastic, professional people who have an ability to relate well to both customers and employees. We make an evaluation of an individual’s personality, qualities and characteristics. We look for integrity, honesty, sincerity, initiative and tenacity, just to name a few. Robin's Donuts wants franchisees that will go into their communities, meet with their customers and market their store aggressively.

If you would like to be included in our growing franchise family, please fill out an application and forward it to us for review. Robin's Donuts will consider applicants who meet the companies financial requirements, are motivated to succeed, and love working with people. Retail, supervisory and managerial background is an asset but not required.

Training

All Robin's Donuts franchisees must be prepared to operate within the standardized and operational system and adhere to all the rules and regulations. Our customers look for and expect the high caliber Robin's Donuts experience in every location.

Each new franchisee and management team is required to attend a training course for a minimum of four weeks at our Thunder Bay, Ontario training facility. This comprehensive course combines both classroom instruction and on-the-job training for approximately 50 hours per week.

It covers basic principles of management, food preparation, customer service and other details vital to the success of your new business.

Support Team

After you have successfully completed the training program you will be working with your Business Development Manager (BDM) to plan your restaurant opening including ordering of inventory, uniforms, small wares, grand opening, literature etc. Your BDM will work with you to train you and your key employees to assist you in the first days following restaurant opening.
